One of my favourite parts of the production process is collaborating on the music & soundtrack. Andy is not only one of the fastest workers I have seen, he is also able to work across myriad genres with equal skill. He interprets creative briefs with real imagination and always offers up something unexpected. We have developed a good shorthand that enables us to work through ideas and motifs quickly so that Andy can further develop and arrange those concepts into either fully-developed scores or versatile musical motifs appropriate for episodic treatment (for instance).

Another fine quality of Andy’s is the way he always (politely) fights for what he thinks works best. And the guy is usually right! No wonder he took home Best Original Score for our film Wish You Here this year at Tropfest – a unanimous decision amongst the judges, we would soon learn.
